Trusting the mail system to get care packages and letters to Peace Corps Volunteers in-country can be a risky proposition. Thus, kind travelers often volunteer to carry letters and small packages (courier) to distribute to PCVs in Conakry. This is a very helpful thing to do, so if you are traveling, please offer! To sign up, please fill out the information below with the following:

  • The latest date by which you need to receive the courier (suggested: a few days before the actual departure date)
  • What type of courier you are willing to carry (letters, small packets, larger packets, boxes, etc.)
  • Where you are going in the country. Unless otherwise stated, it is assumed you are willing to carry courier to drop off at the volunteer house in Conakry. If you are willing to carry mail to other places or if you are going to be dropping mail off somewhere other the Conakry house, please state specific details to that effect.
  • Your Email Address

PLEASE NOTE: We suggest that you do not include any postal addresses on this page — send that information to those who contact you via email.
